From Memphis to the mountains and everywhere in between —Jerri Green will lead with common sense, compassion, and courage.
A lifelong Tennessean, lawyer, public servant, educator, and proud mom of three. I’ve lived in Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville, and I know firsthand the beauty, the struggles, and the deep values that define every corner of this state.
I’ve spent my life showing up for my community when it matters most—whether fighting for the most vulnerable as a public defender, advocating for living wages as a Memphis City Councilor, or championing healthcare access and fundamental freedoms as a leader in County Government. I’m no stranger to tough fights and I have a record of winning.
Now, I’m bringing that same fire to the Governor’s race—because Tennessee families deserve better.
This campaign isn’t just about one person—it’s about a new vision for Tennessee. One rooted in empathy, accountability, and backbone.
I’m building a coalition of teachers, nurses, veterans, working parents, young people, small business owners—everyday Tennesseans who are tired of being ignored by a government that serves only the powerful and well-connected.
We’re done settling for cruelty disguised as policy and corruption disguised as leadership. Together, we’re not just going to shake things up—we’re going to take out the trash and build a Tennessee that works for all of us.

Raised in Memphis. Educated in Knoxville. Worked in Nashville. Jerri knows Tennessee values—because she’s lived them. She’s a mom of three, a lawyer, a public servant, and a proud Democrat who gets things done.
Tennessee deserves: Empathy in leadership. Accountability in government. Backbone to fight for what’s right. She’s not here to play politics—she’s here to build something better for all Tennesseans.
We fund what we value—and it’s time Tennessee starts valuing public schools again.

Paid family leave. Affordable child care. A real living wage. Because families deserve more than survival—they deserve stability and dignity.
Fully funded classrooms. Respected teachers. Honest education—not censorship and political interference.
A government that expands Medicaid, especially in rural Tennessee, and respects women’s decisions regarding her own health.
Background checks. Red flag laws. Gun locks. Because no parent should fear sending their child to school.
Clean air, safe water, and climate-smart policies that protect our land—and our children.
In my time in public service, I have:
This is our moment to lead with love and govern with grit.
If you’re ready to fight for a better Tennessee, we need you on our team. Let’s make history. Let’s win Tennessee—together.
